IBM announced the Directed Execution model for the IBM Quantum Compute Service, moving part of the error-mitigation logic from IBM’s servers to the client side and enabling its inspection and customization. The model relies on Executor, Samplomatic, and Qiskit libraries to run thousands of circuit instances, supporting research ranging from error mitigation to error correction.
