Jody Kerns, who was responsible for general assembly of the Tesla Cybercab, is leaving for Rivian to become general assembly manager for the R2 program at the company’s plant in Illinois. The move comes after another executive responsible for the Cybercab launch departed, during a sensitive phase in the ramp-up of both vehicles.
