Parallel Systems has raised $100 million in Series C funding to expand production of its autonomous electric Panther vehicle, designed to transport freight for distances of up to 500 miles without a driver. The company is testing the system on 160 miles of track near the Port of Savannah ahead of its first commercial cargo shipment.
