Percona is preparing to make Valkey-proxy available as an open-source project within Valkey, aiming to enable applications built to work with a single Redis instance to connect to Valkey clusters without rewriting the application. The company plans to publish the source code before the end of October 2026, release a candidate version in December, and make it generally available in early 2027.
