Plex has begun making it possible for users in the United States to purchase tickets for movies currently showing in cinemas through a partnership with Fandango. The partnership uses search, viewing, and interest data to measure the user’s transition from discovering a movie to purchasing a ticket.
Plex asked Plex Media Server owners and Plex Desktop app users to install the latest versions immediately to address several security vulnerabilities that have not yet been assigned CVE numbers. The update covers servers through version 1.43.2 and clients through version 1.114.0 or earlier.
