TUSAŞ and ROKETSAN signed the HÜRSAT-2 project contract in a step aimed at building a Turkish family of satellites weighing between 200 and 650 kilograms and adaptable to different missions and users. The project seeks to reduce production time and cost, while supporting satellite launches via a platform being developed by ROKETSAN.
TUSAŞ has delivered the first two new-generation HÜRKUŞ-II aircraft to the Turkish Air Force after the program received a military type certificate according to international standards on September 9. Türkiye plans to bring 55 aircraft into service by the end of 2028, with HÜRKUŞ squadrons appearing in 2027.
