Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar announced that his country aims to introduce a bill regulating small nuclear reactors after the budget is approved, as part of a plan to build capacity of up to 20,000 megawatts using Turkish technology and personnel. He also revealed that an energy vision through 2040 is being prepared and that the Çekmece Nuclear Research and Training Center will be reactivated.
