AWS announced Cluster Mode in Elastic Beanstalk, a managed operating mode that deploys, scales, monitors, and updates applications on Amazon EKS infrastructure without the team directly managing the underlying infrastructure. The mode enables resource sharing among multiple applications, but adds EKS costs and related AWS resources and is not suitable for every workload.
