Cloudflare announced a redesign of Cloudflare Containers for the workspaces created on demand by AI agents, reducing container startup time to 648 milliseconds in an independent test and enabling runtime selection of the system image and instance type. It also launched filesystem snapshots in public beta, while Container class and Legacy Sandbox class will receive no updates after December 31, 2026.
