Roche and Eli Lilly’s Elecsys pTau217 test received FDA clearance to help support or rule out the likelihood of Alzheimer’s disease in people aged 55 and older experiencing cognitive decline. Labcorp and Quest Diagnostics plan to launch it nationally, increasing competition in biomarker-based blood tests for the disease.
