Volkswagen’s Low-Cost Electric Cars Near 150,000 Orders in Europe

Volkswagen said the Electric Urban Car Family recorded nearly 150,000 orders since serial production began in June 2026, driven by growing European interest in more affordable electric cars. However, this improvement does not yet offset the group’s declining sales in the United States and China.
