BYD has unveiled a new large SUV called the Sealion 08, available in fully electric and plug-in hybrid versions, with a claimed range of up to 900 kilometers and prices starting at 229,900 yuan. In parallel, its BYD Semiconductor subsidiary has begun mass production of a 28-nanometer 4D radar chip to support driver-assistance systems.
