Microsoft introduced new experimental Blazor components that enable streaming displays of intelligent-agent responses, tool execution, approval management, state synchronization, and the creation of generated interfaces inside .NET applications. The components are based on UIAgent and ContentBlock and can connect to remote agents through the AG-UI protocol.
Microsoft, in collaboration with CopilotKit, has introduced a native .NET SDK package for the AG-UI protocol, enabling services written in C# to produce and consume agent events through interfaces compatible with Python and TypeScript. Microsoft Agent Framework now relies on this package instead of its internal implementation of the protocol.
