A team from OSTİM Technical University, with support from KOSGEB, developed a locally produced sonar system to locate underwater targets and image the beds of bodies of water, testing it at depths of up to 60 meters. The team has produced six units, five of which were delivered to AFAD for use in search-and-rescue operations.
