Two Adobe engineers present an open-source architecture that gives every team in a multi-tenant Kubernetes cluster self-service, isolated access to its metrics, while reducing stored series volume by approximately 97% in the typical case. The approach relies on Prometheus, kube-rbac-proxy, prom-label-proxy, and custom Kubernetes resources rather than creating a new monitoring platform.
