Cisco warned of five critical vulnerabilities in NX-OS that could allow arbitrary code execution with root privileges or cause Nexus 3000 and Nexus 9000 switches to fail when specific networking features are enabled. The company recommended upgrading and disabling unnecessary features, and provided temporary protection for devices that cannot be updated immediately.
