Researchers identified a criminal campaign using thousands of hacked websites, most of them built on WordPress and PrestaShop, to deliver ClickFix payloads stored inside smart contracts on the BNB Smart Chain Testnet. The campaign later evolved to use an encrypted WebRTC channel to execute code in browser memory.
ThreatFabric identified an Android malware strain named Manic that combines espionage, banking fraud, and remote control, targeting at least 169 applications. The malware can relay stolen data through nearby infected devices using Wi‑Fi Direct or Bluetooth, even when the victim device is offline.
