Saudi AI Company MOZN Receives Strategic Investment from HUMAIN

Saudi enterprise AI startup MOZN has announced that it received a strategic investment from HUMAIN, alongside a partnership to develop sovereign AI solutions tailored to financial institutions and government entities in Saudi Arabia and global markets.

The investment is HUMAIN’s first investment in a Saudi company and is also among the first investments carried out by HUMAIN Ventures. MOZN will use the funding to expand its international presence and accelerate the global rollout of its AI platform.

Focus on Highly Regulated Sectors

MOZN was founded in 2017 by Mohammed Al-Hussein and develops enterprise solutions for financial crime prevention and corporate knowledge intelligence. The company serves more than 150 clients in the financial services and public sectors.

The partnership will combine HUMAIN’s AI infrastructure with MOZN’s enterprise products, alongside the Forward Deployed Engineering model. This model involves engaging engineers directly in customer environments to help design, deploy and scale AI applications.

The initial use cases will focus on:

  • Financial crime prevention.
  • Knowledge intelligence.
  • Governance, risk and compliance, or GRC.

According to the announcement, the two parties will work with early customers to develop the solutions under a joint product roadmap and a coordinated go-to-market approach, with the aim of moving AI initiatives from the pilot stage to secure, production-scale applications.

Combining Infrastructure with Regulatory Expertise

As part of the collaboration, HUMAIN will provide the locally operated components of its AI stack, including HUMAIN Fabric and HUMAIN ONE, along with its data centers and advanced models. MOZN will add its products and regulatory expertise in high-assurance areas to develop scalable systems that comply with regulatory requirements and are ready for production use.

The jointly developed solutions will also be made available through the HUMAIN ONE AI Agent Marketplace, serving as a sovereign channel for discovering, deploying and scaling enterprise AI agents.

The collaboration comes at a time when AI applications in financial services are increasing. The announcement cited the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance as reporting that 81% of financial services companies are adopting AI in at least one business function. It also cited McKinsey as indicating that generative AI could unlock between $200 billion and $340 billion in annual value in the banking sector, alongside digital payments growth of approximately 15% annually.

Initial Launch During LEAP Riyadh

Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, said the partnership reflects the momentum of the banking, financial services and insurance sector recently launched by the company and represents one of its first strategic engagements in this sector. He added that investing in MOZN strengthens HUMAIN’s ability to deliver production-ready AI solutions in heavily regulated environments.

Dr. Mohammed Al-Hussein, founder and CEO of MOZN, said the investment supports the company’s mission to enable organizations to use sovereign, trusted AI designed for high-assurance fields.

The first jointly developed solutions and live customer deployments are expected to be unveiled during the LEAP Riyadh event, while broader availability of the solutions to the financial services and public sectors is planned for the second half of 2026.
