鸿蒙智行 launched the 享界 G9 at a conference held on August 20 at 14:30, presenting alongside it other models and products including the 智界 RX, two new versions of the 问界 M6, the upcoming 享界 V8, and the Huawei Pura X View phone. The launches focus on expanding Huawei and its partners’ lineup of electric vehicles and extended-range vehicles.
享界 G9: A Large SUV with Off-Road Capabilities
The 享界 G9 is the brand’s third model after the S9 and S9T, and is described as a luxury sport utility vehicle with an off-road character. It is 5377 mm long, 2050 mm wide, and 1897 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3160 mm. Ground clearance ranges from 205 to 285 mm, while the approach angle is 23.5 degrees and the departure angle is 26 degrees. Its wading depth reaches 800 mm.
The vehicle uses Huawei’s Tuling off-road platform, with continuously variable dual-valve dampers, a dual-chamber air suspension, rear-wheel steering of up to ±12 degrees, and a turning radius of 5.2 meters. It also includes an intelligent system for recognizing terrain and adjusting chassis settings, an active disconnectable 800-volt stabilizer bar, and an adaptive differential lock.
The G9 is available in two versions: fully electric and extended-range. The electric version uses a 120 kWh battery and has a CLTC range of up to 728 km. The extended-range version comes with 75 and 56 kWh batteries, an electric range of up to 405 km, and a total range of 1366 km. The dual-motor drivetrain produces a maximum output of 437 kW.
Prices and Equipment
Prices for the 享界 G9 Max+ start at 429,800 yuan for the five-seat extended-range version and reach 439,800 yuan for the six-seat version. The G9 Ultra starts at 479,800 yuan, while the G9 Ultra+ starts at 529,800 yuan, with prices varying according to the drivetrain and number of seats; the highest trim reaches 549,800 yuan.
The vehicle offers five exterior colors and four interior colors, along with options such as custom wheels and an external spare tire, an integrated refrigerator, zero-gravity front seats, and five- or six-seat configurations. Camping equipment is also available, including an electric rooftop tent and a kitchen integrated into the tailgate.
Other Models and a New Phone
The 智界 RX appeared with dimensions of 5020×2007×1585 mm and a wheelbase of 3000 mm, featuring a design with color-changing paint, a high-performance electrical architecture, and air suspension. Its presale price starts at 299,800 yuan for a trim equipped with an in-cabin lidar, and at 359,800 yuan for a trim featuring an L3-level autonomous-driving architecture design, according to the conference.
Two extended-range versions were added to the 问界 M6: the all-wheel-drive Max, priced at 239,800 yuan with a CLTC electric range of 235 km, and the long-range Max+, priced at 259,800 yuan with a range of 355 km. The company also confirmed that the 享界 V8, a high-end family MPV, will appear at the Chengdu Auto Show.
What Does This Mean for Users?
The conference reflects an effort to cover diverse segments of the Chinese market, from large off-road vehicles with smart equipment to family vehicles and extended-range versions. The G9 specifically combines off-road specifications with an advanced driving and measurement system comprising 38 sensors, but details about availability outside China or its launch date in other markets were not mentioned in the material.
