CATL announced that all 20 of its currently operating electric vehicle battery plants have obtained ISO 14068-1 carbon neutrality certification for their core operations in 2025. The company says the biggest challenge has now become reducing more than 80% of battery life-cycle emissions generated outside its plants, as part of a plan extending through 2035.
