Apex 200 Specifications and Capabilities
BLUETTI has unveiled the new Apex 200 portable power station, which aims to provide a flexible backup power solution. The unit comes with a 2,560 Wh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and provides a continuous AC output power of up to 3.2 kW, increasing to 3.6 kW when an additional battery is connected or during active charging.
The unit features a compact design weighing 26.9 kg and uses UltraCell technology, which gives it an energy density of up to 70.7 Wh/L, making it 50% smaller than competitors in its class, facilitating its transport between the home and recreational vehicles (RVs).
Control and Connectivity Features
The station includes four smart AC outlets that can be independently controlled via the BLUETTI app, allowing users to schedule power or turn off specific devices to save consumption. The station also supports integration with smart home systems such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home, and Home Assistant.
For RV users, the device is equipped with a 30A TT-30R outlet dedicated for direct connection to vehicles, and a 12V/30A Anderson outlet to power DC devices directly without the need for power conversion processes, which increases usage efficiency.
Scalability and Power Management
BLUETTI adopts a "start small, expand later" strategy, where users can add expansion batteries of the B300K or B500K type. In its maximum configuration, the system can reach a storage capacity of up to 33.28 kWh using a single unit, or up to 100 kWh when connecting three Apex 200 units together via the Hub A1 parallel box.
The station supports solar power inputs of up to 3 kW via two independent channels, allowing the main battery to be charged from 0 to 80% within 50 minutes using solar power only under ideal conditions.
Why Does This News Matter?
The Apex 200 represents an option for users looking for a balance between portability and scalability. Instead of investing in a fixed and expensive power system from the start, this product allows users to start with a base capacity and expand it based on their actual needs during power outages or long trips, while providing advanced technical features to control power consumption.
