Iwan Books announced the completion of its first investment agreement with the company with Ahmed Sami, who also joined as a second co-founder and Chief Technology Officer. The company plans to direct the investment toward developing a self-publishing platform targeting Arabic- and English-speaking authors and readers, with trial versions available for the web, mobile phones, and tablets.
