Cloudflare has added domain- and connection-level metrics and reports to monitor the use of post-quantum encryption in TLS 1.3 through HTTP Traffic Analytics, Log Explorer, and Logpush. The tools enable organizations to determine the percentage of connections protected by the X25519MLKEM768 algorithm, helping them audit their quantum readiness and identify connections that still rely on traditional encryption.
Cloudflare is developing an internal tool called CryptoLabe to discover uses of cryptography in its repositories and measure its readiness to transition to post-quantum cryptography by 2029. The experiment reveals that AI can track indirect uses and dependencies, but its results require review by engineers, and the tool is not available to customers.
