The new generation of heavy-duty electric trucks from Volvo Trucks has won the International Truck of the Year 2027 award, highlighting a range of up to 700 kilometers and support for megawatt charging. The recognition comes as serial production begins and the company expands its targeting of electric trucks for regional and heavy-duty transport.
Tesla plans to operate public charging sites for Semi trucks at three of four new depots being developed by Forum Mobility in California, in a model that expands the charging network through partnerships with infrastructure operators.
