Ahmed Khalil, CEO and Managing Director of Raya Holding for Financial Investments, announced that the group's business volume has multiplied by 25 times during the period from 2020 to 2026, coinciding with a strategic orientation towards transforming into a prominent entity in the data center and information technology sector over the next three years.
These statements came during his appearance on the CEO Level podcast, where he reviewed the milestones of the group's development, which manages a diverse portfolio comprising 13 companies and activities including technology, digital services, and artificial intelligence, in addition to its operations extending across four continents with more than 20,000 employees.
Transition toward profitability and financial discipline
Khalil explained that the group's investment philosophy has undergone a fundamental shift based on creating real and measurable value, abandoning the model of random growth without regard to return. He pointed out that the core question guiding current management is achieving a balance between rapid expansion and controlling cash flows to ensure a sustainable return on investment for shareholders.
In this context, Raya Holding achieved revenues amounting to 33.8 billion pounds during the first half of 2026, with a growth of 22%, while dollar-denominated revenues exceeded 30% of the total business volume, reflecting the portfolio's diversity and operational capability.
Focus on data centers and artificial intelligence
The recent period witnessed practical steps by the group in the advanced technology sector, represented by the launch of the venture capital arm Raya Ventures, alongside the establishment of Raya Nexus, a company specialized in artificial intelligence, and the announcement of the first investments directed toward this sector.
The group intends to continue pumping investments into technological infrastructure and digital transformation, particularly in the data center sector, which management bets on becoming a core pillar for the company's operations during the upcoming phase.
