Journify Raises $12 Million to Develop AI-Powered Advertising Infrastructure

Funding to Scale Advertising Signal Technologies

Journify, a company specializing in the development of advertising signal infrastructure, has announced the closing of a $12 million Series A funding round. The round was led by Al Mada Ventures with participation from Silicon Badia, along with the entry of new investors such as Du Ventures and Oraseya Capital, in addition to follow-on investments from Shorooq Partners and Buna Ventures.

The company aims to use this funding for two main objectives: geographic expansion into the US and European markets, and the development of AI capabilities integrated into its platform to monitor data quality and address technical integration issues between various advertising platforms.

What Does This Development Change in the Advertising Sector?

The technical problem that Journify addresses lies in the "data gap" suffered by major advertising platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, and Amazon Ads. While algorithms increasingly rely on data to optimize performance, these systems face technical challenges including:

  • Restrictions imposed by browsers on user tracking.
  • Flaws in traditional digital tracking systems.
  • The lack of correlation between offline sales data and digital campaigns.

Journify's technology works to bridge this gap by providing accurate "signals" that link digital customer interactions with actual purchases, allowing AI to understand the true value of a customer rather than relying solely on superficial indicators like "ad clicks."

Tangible Results in Performance Improvement

Data recorded by the company's clients has demonstrated the ability of this infrastructure to significantly improve Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). Notable examples include:

  • Jarir Bookstore: Achieved a 182% increase in ROAS.
  • Baytonia: Increased returns by 80% while reducing the Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) by 44%.

This expansion comes at a time when experts expect algorithms to manage approximately three-quarters of global advertising spend by 2028, making the quality of data fed into these algorithms the decisive factor in the success of marketing campaigns.
